Md. Abdur Razzaque was born in a rural village in the district of Jessore, Bangladesh, to Md. Sohrab Hossain and Rabeya Khatun. He was raised under the loving care and guidance of his maternal grandparents, Akkel Ali Gazi and Nijela Khatun, whose nurturing influence played a significant role in shaping his character, discipline, and values.
From an early age, he demonstrated extraordinary academic promise and intellectual brilliance. He completed his primary, secondary, and madrasah education in local institutions, earning prestigious Talentpool scholarships at the primary, junior, and madrasah levels. Md. Abdur Razzaque played a vital and principal role in supporting and helping to raise his seven siblings. Today, all of his siblings are well established both in Bangladesh and abroad, including in the United States, England, and Australia.
Md. Abdur Razzaque is married to Selina Akhter, an accomplished BUET engineer who also obtained her Master’s degree in the United States. Together, they have built a family rooted in education, integrity, and aspiration. They are the proud parents of two children: Raisha Taqiya, who is pursuing a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in the United States, and Akhdan Razzaque, whose life has been a continuing source of inspiration, strength, and love for the family.
